Arizona Cardinals vs. Cincinnati Bengals NFL Preseason Betting Preview
The Cincinnati Bengals will host the Arizona Cardinals on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. at the newly named Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio. This game will be televised on CBS. Both teams will be looking to rest their starters most likely in the first preseason game.
The Cincinnati Bengals are coming off one of their best seasons in franchise history where they made it all the way to the Super Bowl before being defeated by the talented Los Angeles Rams. They finished at 10-7 last season which awarded them the No. 1 spot in the division.
Let’s look ahead at what you can expect for the first preseason game between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Arizona Cardinals.
Cardinals vs. Bengals Preseason Betting Odds
The Bengals are the narrow two point favorites most likely because they are the home team. Their odds at that spread are -110. The Cardinals have the same odds of -110 to cover that spread.
The over/under for total points in the game is set at 31 with odds of -110 to bet the over or under. For the moneyline, the Bengals and Cardinals have odds of -130 and +110 to win the game outright.
This game will be a close one no matter what as you will most likely see very few starters for both teams. It will be the battle of the benches as most Week 1 NFL preseason games turn out to be.

What to Expect
Cincinnati Bengals
The Cincinnati Bengals come into this game pretty bruised and battered which forces head coach Zac Taylor to sit most, if not all, of his starters on Friday night. Joe Burrow, who is coming off of an appendectomy, will not see the field on Friday night so you can expect to see Brandon Allen take the starting quarterback role to start the game.
A lot of rookies that have just signed with the Bengals will get their chance to shine like Cordell Volson who is in a position to start next season. He is battling with Jackson Carmen for the starting role next season which will continue throughout the preseason.
Arizona Cardinals
Penn State grad Trace McSorley is expected to get the start for the Cardinals at quarterback and may be the x-factor for the Cardinals in this one. Colt McCoy will also get some time to prove himself on the field. In the preseason, anything can happen, but it does appear that offensively, the Cardinals have more weapons in their reserves than the Bengals.
The Cardinals also have a defensive edge since their defense has been known to be stout. It may turn into a defensive battle which will favor the Cardinals in a low scoring affair.
