Cleveland Cavaliers forward Lauri Markkanen (24) guards Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks (77) in an earlier game against pitting the two teams against each other in Dallas. They rematch tonight at the Fieldhouse.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are coming off a win over the Orlando Magic, as they hope to get themselves out of the play-in tournament.

The Dallas Mavericks, on the other hand, have won two straight games, as they’re just one game behind the Golden State Warriors for the third seed in the Western Conference.

We should be in for an exciting NBA game!

Betting Odds & Lines

The point spread of this game at Mavericks -3. As for the over/under, that currently stands at 213 at the time of writing.

Cavs Players to Watch Out For

Darius Garland is coming off yet another impressive performance, as he put up 25 points, 12 assists, and three steals in the Cavs’ latest win over the Magic.

Lauri Markkanen also stepped up, especially after the Cavs lost Evan Mobley to an ankle sprain, as he scored 20 points.

Kevin Love chipped in with 19 points, seven rebounds, and three assists. Caris LeVert put in a solid all-around effort of eight points, seven rebounds, and six assists.

The Cavs are going to be facing an uphill battle in this one, as they’ll be without both Jarrett Allen and Mobley in this one and going up against one of the hottest teams in the NBA.

Garland should be expected to be up to his usual tricks, but it may not be nearly enough to help the Cavs win the game.

Cleveland is 39-32-4 against the spread this season and 32-41-2 on over/unders. They are 24-14 as the home team.

Mavericks Players to Watch Out For

Luka Doncic is easily the player the Cavs are going to lock in on, as he is enjoying an MVP caliber season in his fourth season in the league.

Doncic is coming off a 34 point, 12 rebound, and 12 assist performance just last night against the Los Angeles Lakers, as he dominated the entire night.

Reggie Bullock gave the Mavs a much-needed punch in last night’s game, as he dropped 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting, including five 3-pointers. Davis Bertans chipped in 14 points, including four threes.

Spencer Dinwiddie came off the bench to score 13 points and dish out six assists. Jalen Brunson put up 12 points, five rebounds, and three assists in a starting role.

Dwight Powell had 12 points and eight rebounds. Jalen Green came off the bench to drop 12 points.

As this trend suggests, the Mavs flexed their depth in their win over a depleted Lakers roster last night. They’re not going to feel sorry for you. Each and every player is going to step up and play the game of basketball the way it should be played.

This season, Dallas is 43-32-1 against the spread and 26-48-2 on over/unders. They are 20-17 as the away team.

Mavericks Win

The Mavs are just too hot entering this game, whereas the Cavs have struggled to match up with teams that are better than them.

Expect the Mavericks to win yet another game and cover the spread.
