Week 11 of the 2022 NFL season will kick off with a tantalizing contrast of styles between the Tennessee Titans and Green Bay Packers. The 4-6 Packers enter the game as a three-point favorite against the 6-3 Titans.

But, this game will come down to which team does the best job of imposing its preferred style on the contest in what should be a chilly night at Lambeau Field.

Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans used their defense to secure a much-needed win over the Denver Broncos in their last outing. Ryan Tannehill returned from injury for that game and helped a Titans offense that ranks dead last in passing yardage to wake up through the air to some degree.

Tannehill broke the 200 passing yard mark and will likely need to do that again to help his team win this matchup.

Of course, the Titans will also lean heavily on Derrick Henry in this game, as they do in just about every game they play. Henry has 923 yards and nine rushing touchdowns in nine games so far, averaging just over 100 yards per game on the ground.

He will be important in this contest not only to help the Titans score points but to help them move the ball on the ground and chew up the clock to keep the ball out of Aaron Rodgers’ hands.

Green Bay Packers

In Week 10, the Green Bay Packers trailed the Dallas Cowboys by two touchdowns at home. But, they turned that deficit around and managed to beat Dallas with a field goal in overtime in a thrilling 31-28 affair.

In that game, Aaron Rodgers found Christian Watson for three touchdowns, and the Packers will hope that pairing has more success in this game to help the Packers win a second straight at home.

The recurring theme this season for the Packers has been waiting for their offense to break out, given their struggles throughout the year. Sunday against the Cowboys may have finally been the game they needed in order to wake things up on the offensive side of the ball.

Against a stout Titans defense, we should get a good idea as to whether or not last week was a one-off or a sign of things to come from the Packers.

Keys To The Game

The key to this game for the Titans is going to be their defense, specifically against the pass. Tennessee’s pass defense has struggled this year, giving up 272.6 passing yards per game, which ranks 31st in the league.

That is a huge concern against an offense that is led by Aaron Rodgers, even if the Packers have not been at their best offensively throughout this year.

On the Packers' side, defense is also their biggest key to the game; only their key is going to be stopping the run. The Packers are allowing 140.6 rushing yards per game on the season, which ranks 26th in the league.

Against Derrick Henry, that is also a huge concern, as the Titans have the potential to run wild on the Packers if they do not step up in that facet of the game.
