All Bets Are On: Alabama Crimson Tide & AFC Championship Bets
On this week's All Bets Are On, ESPN Cleveland's Bruce Drennan and Matt Fontana lock in their Week 1 College Football Bets and their AFC Championship Bets for the NFL.
AFC Champion Bet
With the Kansas City Chiefs as the heavy favorite to win the AFC Championship (+250), Fontana wanted to select a team with more enticing odds.
Of course, the hometown Cleveland Browns (+750) is a very intriguing option as they have the fourth-best odds behind the Baltimore Ravens (+650) and the Bills.
Besides picking the Browns, Fontana also likes the Buffalo Bills at +550.
Alabama Crimson Tide Bet
The Alabama Crimson Tide are favored by 18.5 points in their opener against the University of Miami Florida. For the Crimson Tide, they'll be starting a new quarterback, Bryce Young.
Despite having a quick second-thought about picking Alabama to cover this huge number in the first game of the season with a new QB, both Fontana and Drennan are picking the Crimson Tide to cover the spread.
"Every time I bet against Alabama they always stick it back to me," Fontana said. "I'm going to have to go with Alabama on this one."
