Cleveland Browns vs Detroit Lions Prop Bets

The Cleveland Browns and Detroit Lions are getting prepared to take on one another in Week 11 and there is a lot of money to be made here as there are some key prop bets that you should lock-in. Remember that depending on when and what sportsbooks you use, the numbers and odds can be a little different than what is listed here.

Total Field Goals for Cleveland, Over 2.5 (+225)

The Cleveland Browns struggled to move the chains last week against the New England Patriots, but going up against the Detroit Lions they should be able to get into field goal range. They are having placekicker Chase McLaughlin kicking in this game and that gives us a great indication. So far this season, he is 13-of-15 on field goals and has a solid leg as he is 4-of-4 on kicks of at least 50 yards and has missed two kicks between 40-49 yards. The running game of Cleveland is going to step up and get them into field goal range and averaging a field goal per quarter shouldn’t be too much to ask.

Will a Special Teams/Defensive TD be Scored? No (-280)

We need to look at this from an angle as it seems like easy money that this will hit. Baker Mayfield is questionable as of this writing but he has thrown just four interceptions this season while Jared Goff is dealing with an oblique injury but did not miss any snaps. With two quarterbacks being compromised, that means a lot of run plays will be called and the clock will drain. Neither team has returned a kick for a touchdown this season either so there aren’t many chances for either one of these things to happen. Go with no and despite having not great odds, making a little amount of money is better than nothing or losing a different bet.

Big Win Little Win, Cleveland 1-13 (+127)

This is one of my favorite bets to have as this is predicting which team will win and by how many points. Here we have the Browns winning by less than 14 points and I really like this bet. Both defenses have been struggling a bit this season and having quarterbacks dealing with a few injuries so there should not be a huge difference between these franchises. The Lions are scoring 13.8 points per game in their previous five games while the Browns are averaging 17.8 points in that same stretch of games. Cleveland is the better team and is 3-2 at home this season compared to Detroit being 0-4-1 on the road. It seems like a 7-13 points difference between these franchises so go with this getting plus odds in this game.

Conclusion

This is going to be a fun week but there are some question marks surrounding these teams. I don’t love doing player props specifically this early before players are locked into the game. Let’s win some money while watching some football this week!
