Cleveland Cavaliers vs Milwaukee Bucks Betting Preview

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Milwaukee Bucks will face off in a heavily contested divisional battle, as both teams have playoff aspirations this season.

The Cavs are heading into this one as the winners of five straight games, as they’re locked in as a top-five seed as things currently stand.

The Bucks come into this one occupying the second seed in the Eastern Conference, as they hope to find themselves as the champions of the league once again at season’s end.

Betting Odds & Lines

The spread for Saturday night is set at MIL -1.5. The over/under is sitting at 214 points.

Jarrett Allen Making Strong Case For All-Star Consideration

Jarrett Allen is averaging nearly 17 points on 71 percent shooting to go along with 11 rebounds per game. He is one of 13 players averaging over 15 points and ten rebounds in the league and is on pace for being the first player ever to put up those numbers while averaging over 70 percent from the field.

“The Fro” has just been electric for the Cavs all season long, as he wows people with his ability to dunk and block shots on a nightly basis. He’s bringing that flair that the city of Cleveland has been missing for quite a while.

He’s a huge reason why the Cavs are well ahead of schedule this season, and the beauty of it all is that he’s locked in for the next several years.

Cavs Looking to Extend Winning Streak

The Cavs are on absolute fire right now, as their average margin of victory during their five-game winning streak is 20 points. They are barely giving their competition any chance of winning ball games.

Their most recent victory came against the Houston Rockets, where they blew them out by 35 points.

Not only has Allen been a force for the Cavs all season long, but Darius Garland has as well, averaging 17.8 points and 7.8 assists per game throughout this stretch.

Khris Middleton Tasked With Carrying Bucks

Giannis Antetokounmpo is currently in the health and safety protocols, as his availability for this game appears to be in doubt.

However, Khris Middleton appears to be healthy after an injury scare kept him out of Wednesday’s game.

Middleton is a maestro in the mid-range and is capable of getting hot from three, but with Antetokounmpo out, his effectiveness may take a hit.

Cavs Win

The Cavs are absolutely unstoppable right now, and although they’ll be on the road, they have their full complement of guys healthy and ready to go.

It would be a much more enjoyable game if Antetokounmpo was available, as it would’ve been a great test to see how legit the Cavs are and if they’re seriously ready to make a playoff run in April.

With the way the Cavs are rolling and the injury concerns on the Bucks’ side of things, the Cavs should be able to extend their winning streak to six games and continue their run as one of the best stories in the league thus far.
