The last few playoffs spots are up for grabs over the next few weeks as most teams have ten games or less left to play this season. Cavs are idle tonight but even though they lost against Toronto last night, the Wizards lost and thus the Cavs clinched a spot in the play in tournament at the worst.

Here's all you need to know ahead of Friday night's games.

Utah Jazz vs Charlotte Hornets (7 p.m.)

Team Favored and Spread: UTA -4

Total Points: 228

The Utah Jazz will head to the Spectrum Center in an Eastern Conference vs Western Conference matchup as they take on the Charlotte Hornets. Shooting guard Donovan Mitchell has been hooping extremely well in his last nine games as he is averaging 27.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, 5.6 assists, and 0.9 steals per game while shooting 37.4 percent from deep. The Jazz have covered in four of their previous five games. This total has decreased by 3.5 points since the line opened so go with the over as it hit in five of the previous six games played in Charlotte.

Washington Wizards at Detroit Pistons (7 p.m.)

Team Favored and Spread: DET -3.5

Total Points: 221

The Washington Wizards will head to the Little Caesars Arena on Friday to take on the Detroit Pistons in an Eastern Conference game. This will be the fourth and final game between these teams and the Wizards are attempting to sweep the season series. In his last five games rookie point guard Cade Cunningham is averaging 21.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, 8.2 assists, one block, and 1.4 steals. However, Washington is 1-6 Against the Spread in their last seven games played in Detroit and the under hit in five of the previous seven games against one another. All in all, go with those to hit in this game.

Golden State Warriors at Atlanta Hawks (7:30 p.m.)

Team Favored and Spread: ATL -2.5

Total Points: 220.5

The Golden State Warriors will head to the State Farm Arena in a non-conference game against the Atlanta Hawks. This will be the second and final game against one another as the Warriors were able to pick up a 127-113 home victory earlier this season. Point guard Trae Young has been playing well in his previous nine games as he has recorded 28.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, 10.3 assists, and 1.2 steals while shooting 39.2 percent from beyond the arc in that stretch. Go with the Atlanta Hawks to cover the spread at home and the over to hit as these teams can score the ball well.

New York Knicks at Miami Heat (8 p.m.)

Team Favored and Spread: MIA -6.5

Total Points: 215.5

The New York Knicks will travel south to the FTX Arena to take on the Miami Heat in an Eastern Conference game. Miami has been struggling as the season reaches the end but are looking for a three-game season sweep against New York. Point guard Tyler Herro (knee), small forward PJ Tucker (knee), shooting guard Duncan Robinson are all listed as questionable while shooting guard Victor Oladipo (rest) is ruled out. Go with the Knicks to cover the spread and the over to hit as it hit in five of the previous seven games between one another.

Dallas Mavericks at Minnesota Timberwolves (8 p.m.)

Team Favored and Spread: MIN -3

Total Points: 228.5

The Dallas Mavericks will head to the Target Center to take on the Minnesota Timberwolves in a Western Conference game. This will be the fourth and final regular-season game between these teams, as the Mavericks won two of those games. Point guard Luka Doncic has played well in his previous eight games as he has averaged 28.5 points, 8.8 rebounds, 7.1 assists, 0.8 blocks, and 1.3 steals while shooting 39.8 percent from beyond the arc. Dallas is 10-4 Against the Spread in their last 14 games against Minnesota while the over hit in five of the previous six games against one another, so go with the Mavericks to cover and the over to hit here.

Houston Rockets at Portland Trail Blazers (10 p.m.)

Team Favored and Spread: HOU -3.5

Total Points: 235.5

The Houston Rockets will head to the Moda Center to take on the Portland Trail Blazers in a Western Conference matchup. The Rockets are currently on an 11-game road losing streak, and both of these programs are struggling right now. Even with Portland’s roster’s injuries, they are still the better team and should do well. The Trail Blazers are 6-2 Against the Spread in their last eight games against the Rockets and the under hit in nine of the previous 13 games against one another. Go with the Portland Trail Blazers to cover the spread and the under to hit.

Philadelphia 76ers at Los Angeles Clippers (10:30 p.m.)

Team Favored and Spread: PHI -5.5

Total Points: 222

The Philadelphia 76ers will head to the Crypto.com Arena to take on the Los Angeles Clippers during their West Coast trip. The Clippers are riding a four-game losing streak, and the defense will be the biggest difference. Philadelphia is allowing 105.3 points in their last four games, while Los Angeles is giving up 117.8 points in their previous four games played. The Sixers are 9-3 Against the Spread in their last 12 games, so go with Philly to cover and the under hit in seven of their previous ten games against one another.
