Kevin Love (0), Cedi Osman (16) and Darius Garland (behind Love) celebrate after a 19-0 Cavs run in the fourth quarter of their matchup with the Pacers last Sunday night.

Charlotte Hornets @ Detroit Pistons (7 p.m.)

Favored Team and Spread: CHA -7

Total Points: 226.5

Both teams are struggling and on an extended losing streak as Charlotte and Detroit square off. Charlotte has been incredible offensively as they are tied with Phoenix for third in the NBA with 113.3 points per game this season.

Rookie point guard Cade Cunningham (hip) did not play on Thursday, so his status is up in the air. Go with the Hornets and the over to be the plays for this game.

Cleveland Cavaliers @ Indiana Pacers (7 p.m.)

Favored Team and Spread: CLE -5

Total Points: 215.5

In a return matchup for shooting guard Caris LeVert, Cleveland is traveling to the Gainbridge Fieldhouse to take on Indiana. The Cavaliers have won both games against the Pacers this season and are currently on a three-game winning streak, while the Pacers are on a four-game losing streak.

This three-headed monster forming of point guard Darius Garland, shooting guard Caris LeVert, and center Jarrett Allen are going to be a threat for years to come, and this Cleveland team is doing extremely well.

The Cavs are leading the NBA with 101.9 points per game allowed, and the Pacers are struggling as they begin their rebuild, so go with the Cleveland Cavaliers to cover on the road as well as the under in this game.

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Philadelphia 76ers (7 p.m.)

Favored Team and Spread: PHI -12.5

Total Points: 208

Oklahoma City is a rebuilding franchise and will be without point guard Shai-Gilgeous Alexander until after the All-Star break. These teams are not close, and the Sixers won the only other game on the road, 115-103 against the Thunder.

The Philadelphia 76ers have gotten stronger as they acquired shooting guard James Harden and power forward Paul Millsap via a deadline deal with the Brooklyn Nets yesterday. They will miss this game while shooting guard Shake Milton (back) and point guard Tyrese Maxey are listed as day-to-day.

The Sixers are the stronger and better team so go with Philly to dominate behind Joel Embiid as well as the over to hit.

San Antonio Spurs @ Atlanta Hawks (7:30 p.m.)

Favored Team and Spread: ATL -8

Total Points: 233

The San Antonio Spurs are struggling this season and will be heading to the State Farm Arena to take on the Atlanta Hawks as they continue their non-conference matchup.

The Hawks picked up a 124-106 road win in their only other meeting this season. Point guard Trae Young has been averaging 27.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, 8.7 assists, and a steal in his last nine games while shooting 40.2 percent from the three-point line.

San Antonio is averaging 106 points in their previous three games, while Atlanta is scoring 116.3 points in their last four games. Go with the over to it and the Atlanta Hawks to cover at home here.

Denver Nuggets @ Boston Celtics (7:30 p.m.)

Favored Team and Spread: BOS -5.5

Total Points: 218

Denver has been a good team all year, but Boston has been on a roll as of late, winning six consecutive games. Small forward Jayson Tatum has been controlling the game as he is averaging 24.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 0.6 blocks, and 0.9 steals at home this season.

The Nuggets have not covered in their last four games against the Celtics so go with Denver to cover to spread. Also, go with the under as the trade options will not be available for this game.

Minnesota Timberwolves @ Chicago Bulls (8 p.m.)

Favored Team and Spread: CHI -3.5

Total Points: 240.5

The Timberwolves will be heading to the United Center to take on the Bulls in a non-conference matchup. This will be the first of two matchups against one another, but Minnesota is 4-1 in their last five games.

Center Karl-Anthony Towns has been dominant in his last ten games as he has a 53.1/40/85.2 shooting split while averaging 24 points, 10.8 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 1.1 blocks, and 0.7 steals in that stretch. Minnesota is averaging 125.8 points in their last five games, while Chicago is averaging 117.7 points in their previous three games.

Go with the Timberwolves to cover the spread and keep this game very close, as well as the over that has hit in four of their last five meetings.

Orlando Magic @ Utah Jazz (9 p.m.)

Favored Team and Spread: UTA -13

Total Points: 222

The Orlando Magic have been struggling this season and will continue their west coast trip as they take on the Utah Jazz.

The Jazz are riding a four-game winning streak and are scoring 114.3 points per game in that stretch. Shooting guard Donovan Mitchell is averaging 24.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, 6.7 assists, one block, and 1.3 steals in his three games since returning from a concussion.

The Magic are dealing with some injuries as they are without point guard R.J. Hampton (knee), point guard Markelle Fultz (knee), center Bol Bol (foot), and center Moritz Wagner are all ruled out for this game.

Go with the Utah Jazz to cover the spread as they have the ability to dominate and the under as Orlando is going to struggle to hit their implied total.
