Robert Williams III (44) goes for a layup against Atlanta in a January 2022 matchup.

A fairly quiet night in NBA action tonight. Let’s hop into betJACK’s Daily NBA Betting Guide!

Atlanta Hawks @ Boston Celtics (2 p.m.)

Favored Team and Spread: BOS -7.5

Total Points: 220

The Celtics are on fire right now as they are riding a seven-game winning streak and are hosting the Atlanta Hawks this afternoon. However, the Hawks are 2-0 against the Celtics this season.

Small forward Jayson Tatum has been loving these games as in their two matchups this season; he is averaging 27 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 1.5 blocks, and one steal per game. Atlanta is without power forward John Collins (heel) but should have point guard Trae Young (hip), point guard Delon Wright (ankle), and shooting guard Lou Williams (hamstring) able to play.

The Hawks are 5-1 Against The Spread against the Celtics in their last six meetings, so go with Atlanta to cover as well as the over since it’s 6-2-1 in the last nine games between these teams in Boston.

Minnesota Timberwolves @ Indiana Pacers (3 p.m.)

Favored Team and Spread: MIN -7

Total Points: 236.5

The Minnesota Timberwolves will travel to take on the Indiana Pacers in a non-conference matchup. The Pacers are trying to snap a five-game losing streak here but dealing with a bunch of injuries and trying to take their first step in the rebuilding process.

Center Karl-Anthony Towns should feast in this matchup as in his last ten games; he is averaging 24.4 points, 10.9 rebounds, 5.5 assists, a block, and 0.7 steals with a shooting split of 55.9/41.5/85.5 during that stretch.

Go with the under as Indiana is averaging 103.3 points in their previous three games while Minnesota is scoring 118.3 points in their last four games. Go with the T-Wolves to cover the spread and the under to hit.
