A lot of exciting NBA action tonight! Let’s hop into betJACK’s Daily NBA Betting Guide!

Toronto Raptors @ Charlotte Hornets (7 p.m.)

Team Favored and Spread: TOR -3

Total Points: 226

The Toronto Raptors will be taking on the Charlotte Hornets inside of the Spectrum Center here in an Eastern Conference matchup. Point guard Fred VanVleet (knee) is the only Raptor on the injury report, and they are going to be a tough team coming out of the gates here.

There is a distinct difference between these two teams right now, so go with Toronto to cover and the over to hit as it is 11-4-1 in the previous 16 games between these two sides as well.

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Indiana Pacers (7 p.m.)

Team Favored and Spread: IND -7

Total Points: 216.5

The Oklahoma City Thunder will be on the road as they head to the Gainbridge Fieldhouse to take on the Indiana Pacers in a non-conference matchup. Oklahoma City is dead last in points per game at 101.3 while Indiana is 15th with 109.3 points per game this season, so the offenses are showing a solid divide.

The Thunder are 1-4 Against The Spread in their last five games against the Pacers so go with Indiana to cover and the under to hit here.

Houston Rockets @ Orlando Magic (7 p.m.)

Team Favored and Spread: ORL -4.5

Total Points: 228.5

These are two of the weaker teams this season in their respective conference as the Rockets and Magic are squaring off.

Center Christian Wood is the best player currently on either team and has been doing incredibly well in his last nine games as he is averaging 18 points, ten rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.1 blocks, and 0.9 steals per game.

Houston is 4-1 Against the Spread in their previous five road games against Orlando so go with the Rockets getting points and the over to hit.

San Antonio Spurs @ Washington Wizards (7 p.m.)

Team Favored and Spread: SA -2

Total Points: 225

San Antonio begins the second half of the season on the road to take on Washington in a non-conference game. Point guard Dejounte Murray has done incredibly well in his last eight games as he is averaging 23.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, 10.9 assists, and 2.3 steals in that span.

The Wizards are without a bunch of solid players that can match that output. The Spurs are 23-7 Against the Spread in their previous 30 games against the Wizards, so go with them to cover on the road.

Also, the over has hit in all but one of the previous eight games, so go with the over as well.

Miami Heat @ New York Knicks (7:30 p.m.)

Team Favored and Spread: MIA -5

Total Points: 211

The Miami Heat and the New York Knicks will be squaring off inside of the World’s Most Famous Arena: Madison Square Garden.

New York is dealing with some injuries as they have point guard Derrick Rose (ankle) is doubtful, point guard Kemba Walker (rest) is out for the remainder of the season, and both shooting guard RJ Barrett (ankle) and center Nerlens Noel (foot) are listed as questionable.

The Heat have covered in seven of the previous nine games against the Knicks so go with Miami to cover as well as the under as both franchises are defensive-minded.

Philadelphia 76ers @ Minnesota Timberwolves (8 p.m.)

Team Favored and Spread: PHI -3

Total Points: 228

The Philadelphia 76ers will be on the road and playing in the Target Center as they take on the Minnesota Timberwolves in a non-conference game.

Joel Embiid and Karl-Anthony Towns have a great chance of playing well, but the debut of someone could be a huge difference. Shooting guard James Harden (hamstring) is probable and is expected to make his 76ers debut here.

All in all, go with Philly to cover the spread on the road and the under to hit as it has hit in nine of the previous ten games played in Minnesota between these two teams.

New Orleans Pelicans @ Phoenix Suns (9 p.m.)

Team Favored and Spread: PHO -7.5

Total Points: 225

The New Orleans Pelicans will head to Phoenix to take on the Suns here. The combination of Devin Booker and DeAndre Ayton are a hair better than CJ McCollum and Brandon Ingram.

The Suns are leading the NBA with a +8.1 point differential this season and should dominate here as they look for their 10th consecutive home win.

The Pelicans are just 1-5 Against the Spread in their last six games, so go with the Paul-less Suns team to cover the spread and the under to hit in this game.

Dallas Mavericks @ Utah Jazz (9 p.m.)

Team Favored and Spread: UTA -6

Total Points: 216.5

The Dallas Mavericks will be on the road to take on the Utah Jazz in a Western Conference matchup. Dallas is getting healthy and should always be competitive with point guard Luka Doncic, who is averaging 27.5 points, 9.2 rebounds, nine assists, 0.5 blocks, and 1.1 steals in 35.4 minutes per game to carry the team.

Shooting guard Donovan Mitchell (illness) is listed as questionable, which forced him to miss the All-Star Game for the Mavericks. The Mavs have covered in six of the previous seven games overall.

All in all, go with Dallas to cover the spread on the road and the over to hit.

Los Angeles Clippers @ Los Angeles Lakers (10 p.m.)

Team Favored and Spread: LAL -1.5

Total Points: 223

The Los Angeles Clippers will technically be on the road as they play in the Crypto.com Arena against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Between small forward LeBron James, power forward Anthony Davis, and point guard Russell Westbrook, the Lakers should dominate here against a team without their two strongest wing players.

All in all, go with the Lakers to cover and the over as it is 3-1-1 in their previous five games against one another.
