NBA Daily Betting Guide: NBA Best Bets for February 5, 2022
A lot of exciting NBA action tonight! Let's hop into betJACK's Daily NBA Betting Guide!
Memphis Grizzlies @ Orlando Magic (5 p.m.)
Favored Team and Spread: MEM -7.5
Total Points: 222.5
The Memphis Grizzlies have been dominating this season with their young core stepping up as point guard Ja Morant has bursted onto the MVP scene.
He has been on fire in his last ten games; Morant is averaging 31.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, 7.1 assists, and 1.4 steals per game. These two teams are on two completely different levels as of now, and the Orlando team does not have a big star to take over this game.
The Grizzlies have covered in each of their previous five road games against a team with a losing home record so go with them to cover as well as the over as these teams can score well.
Miami Heat @ Charlotte Hornets (7 p.m.)
Favored Team and Spread: MIA -3.5
Total Points: 224.5
One of the best offensive teams are going up against one of the best defensive teams as the Heat and Hornets square off. The Hornets are scoring incredibly well as they lead the NBA with 114.3 points per game this season but are riding a three-game losing streak heading into this game.
Go with Charlotte to cover the spread at home in this game as they can outscore Miami as well as the over in this game.
Phoenix Suns @ Washington Wizards (7 p.m.)
Favored Team and Spread: PHO -8
Total Points: 222.5
The Suns have been one of the biggest juggernauts in the NBA in the last two years and should dominate here yet again. Shooting guard Bradley Beal (wrist) is questionable for this game, but even if he is able to play here, the backcourt of point guard Chris Paul and shooting guard Devin Booker have been nothing short of incredible.
Washington is 20-30-1 Against The Spread this season so go with the Phoenix Suns to cover the spread on the road. The over has hit in each of their previous seven meetings against one another, so go with the points scoring well in this game.
New York Knicks @ Los Angeles Lakers (8:30 p.m.)
Favored Team and Spread: LAL -2
Total Points: 212.5
Two of the biggest franchises in the NBA face off as the Knicks, and the Lakers play here. However, both teams have been underwhelming so far.
The combination of point guard Russell Westbrook and power forward Anthony Davis should be enough to be the lowly Knicks.
Go with the under as the absence of small forward LeBron James will loom large to score a solid amount of points.
Milwaukee Bucks @ Portland Trail Blazers (10 p.m.)
Favored Team and Spread: MIL -9
Total Points: 226.5
The Bucks have been playing well behind power forward Giannis Antetokounmpo as he is averaging 30.7 points, 10.8 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 1.3 blocks, and 0.8 steals in his previous ten games.
The Trail Blazers are still dealing with injuries, but their recent trade with the Clippers should help them out here. However, it is not going to be enough against the reigning NBA Champions as the Bucks are 15-5-1 Against The Spread in their last 21 games against the Trail Blazers.
Also, go with the under as the Bucks are a more defensive team, with Portland struggling to find scorers right now.
Oklahoma City Thunder @ Sacramento Kings (10 p.m.)
Favored Team and Spread: SAC -6.5
Total Points: 216
The Oklahoma City Thunder have been rolling as they won their last three games and going against the lowly Sacramento Kings in a Western Conference matchup.
OKC will be without point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (wrist) until after the All-Star break, but the rest of the team has stepped up. They are giving up 96 points in their previous three games, so go with the Thunder getting 6.5 points here on the second half of a back-to-back.
Also, go with the under, as it seems to be the more logical play in this game.
