A lot of exciting NBA action tonight! Let's hop into betJACK's Daily NBA Betting Guide!

Los Angeles Lakers @ Atlanta Hawks (1 p.m.)

Favored Team and Spread: ATL -7.5

Total Points: 225

Los Angeles is sitting at 24-26 and are ninth in the Western Conference but are still on their East Coast road trip as they take on the Atlanta Hawks, who are 11th in the Eastern Conference with a 23-25 record.

The health of the Lakers are having some issues as LeBron James (knee), power forward Anthony Davis (wrist), and point guard Russell Westbrook (knee) listed on the injury report, so they will have some issues with lineups.

The Hawks are riding a six-game winning streak and with the question marks surrounding the Lakers, go with the Atlanta Hawks to cover the spread.

The under has also hit in five of the previous seven games between these teams, so under 225 seems like a strong play.

Los Angeles Clippers @ Charlotte Hornets (1 p.m.)

Favored Team and Spread: CHA -6

Total Points: 224.5

The Los Angeles Clippers will travel to the Spectrum Center to take on the Charlotte Hornets early Sunday afternoon. The Hornets have shown the ability to score as they are leading the NBA with 115 points per game.

The over has hit in 18 of the previous 24 Hornets games following an Against The Spread loss, as well as going 3-0-1 ATS in the Clippers' last four games. All in all, go with over 224.5 points here.

Portland Trail Blazers @ Chicago Bulls (3:30 p.m.)

Favored Team and Spread: CHI -5.5

Total Points: 229.5

This needs to be the C.J. McCollum show as the Trail Blazers are without point guard Damian Lillard (abdominal), small forward Larry Nance Jr (knee), power forward Cody Zeller (knee), and small forward Nassir Little (shoulder) are all out for a bit of time right now.

The three-headed monster of Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan, and Nikola Vucevic should dominate in this game. Chicago has the talent to defend home court here and win easily.

The under is 4-1-1 in their last six games against one another, so the under seems like the better play.

Cleveland Cavaliers @ Detroit Pistons (6 p.m.)

Favored Team and Spread: CLE -8

Total Points: 210.5

Teams struggle to score against Cleveland as they are second in the NBA, allowing just 102.2 points per game this year. Now Detroit is not playing well as they are averaging 105 points in their previous four games.

However, picturing the Pistons scoring more than 100 points is difficult. Point guard Cade Cunningham only scored eight points against the Magic last game.

Go with the Cavaliers to win by double digits and the under as it hit in four of the last five Cavs games as well as four of the previous five Pistons following an ATS loss so go with the under as well.

Denver Nuggets @ Milwaukee Bucks (7 p.m.)

Favored Team and Spread: MIL -6.5

Team Points: 228.5

The Denver Nuggets will travel to the Fiserv Forum to take on the Milwaukee Bucks in a battle of the previous two MVP winners. Center Nikola Jokic has been dominant as in his last five games; he is averaging 28.6 points, 12.8 rebounds, 9.4 assists, and 1.6 steals per game in that stretch.

Power forward Giannis Antetokounmpo has also been incredible as in his previous four games, he is averaging 31.8 points, 12.3 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 0.8 blocks, and 1.3 steals per game. The secondary options seem to be more in favor of Milwaukee, so they should be able to cover the spread at home.

The under hit in six of the last eight games between these teams played in Milwaukee, so the under is a better bet.

Dallas Mavericks @ Orlando Magic (7 p.m.)

Favored Team and Spread: DAL -5

Total Points: 211.5

The Mavericks are averaging a 23.5 point win in their previous two games and are taking on another inferior opponent.

There are a few key injuries as center Kristaps Porzingis (knee), shooting guard Tim Hardaway Jr (foot), and point guard Markelle Fultz (knee) are all out for this game, and the Mavs should dominate here.

All in all, Dallas should crush the Magic on the road and cover as well as the over as the Mavs should shoot past their implied total.

Utah Jazz @ Minnesota Timberwolves (8 p.m.)

Favored Team and Spread: UTA -1

Total Points: 227

Center Rudy Gobert (calf) and shooting guard Donovan Mitchell (concussion) are still out for the Jazz, so they need their secondary players to step up, and they are falling in the standings with a four-game losing streak.

Center Karl-Anthony Towns has been playing well, especially as of late as he is averaging 23.7 points, 12.7 rebounds, and 4.3 assists. The combination of KAT and point guard D'Angelo Russell have been a solid duo this season.

Utah is 1-4-1 Against The Spread in their previous six games, so go with the healthier Timberwolves squad to cover the spread and the under without the top two players for the Jazz.

San Antonio Spurs @ Phoenix Suns (8 p.m.)

Favored Team and Spread: PHO -13

Total Points: 228.5

This is the biggest spread on the day for any game, but these San Antonio Spurs are a feisty team with one of the greatest head coaches.

The Suns have been dominating this season with the backcourt of point guard Chris Paul and shooting guard Devin Booker and should carry them to an actual victory. However, the Spurs have been tough to take giant leads against. Go with the Spurs getting 13 points on the road.

These teams have been scoring extremely well this season as San Antonio is tied for eighth in the league with 111.3 points while Phoenix is third, averaging 112.8 points, so go with the over here as well.
