We have Week 2 of the NFL preseason between two teams that are expected to be solid this year as the Philadelphia Eagles and the Cleveland Browns square off Sunday afternoon.

The Eagles are coming off a 24-21 home loss against the New York Jets, while the Browns are 1-0 after going on the road and defeating the Jacksonville Jaguars 24-13.

Philly Looking at Depth

The Philadelphia Phillies have an extremely talented roster but need their depth pieces to dominate. One of the better pieces to be looking for is running back Jason Huntley, as he has 18 career attempts for 70 yards (3.9 yards per carry) and a touchdown at just 24 years old.

In his game last week, he finished with 16 carries for 48 yards and a rushing touchdown on the ground, and four receptions on five targets for 39 yards. If he can continue to improve, that just adds another weapon to their already dominant offensive unit.

Who Starts Week 2 Preseason at Quarterback?

The Cleveland Browns are expecting starting quarterback Deshaun Watson to miss the beginning of the season due to his 11 game suspension.

They have to figure out their quarterback room and both Josh Rosen and Joshua Dobbs got some action. Dobbs is 10-of-13 for 108 yards and a passing touchdown and a nine-yard carry, while Rosen was 6-of-7 for 56 yards and three rushing attempts for -3 yards. Even though Jacoby Brissett will not play until the final preseason game, this is a chance for Joshua Dobbs to climb up the depth chart.

What Are the Betting Lines for This Game?

The consensus betting odds for this game have the Philadelphia Eagles being listed as a two-point road favorite on the spread. This should be a close game.

The over.under is set at 35.5.

Eagles vs. Browns Preseason Bet Pick

These two coaches have been using the preseason throughout their young careers as different things as Nick Sirianni is 0-3 in his three career preseason games while Kevin Stefanski is 4-0 in his four preseason games as the head coach. Joshua Dobbs is going to get a lot of this game and the depth pieces on the defensive side of the football. Cleveland allowed 77 rushing yards in their first preseason game, while Philadelphia gave up 119 rushing yards in their preseason opener.

Philadelphia is having Reid Sinnett and Gardner Minshew getting most of the action in this game, and that does not seem to be doing very well. I like the younger defensive players that are in Cleveland, and the Watson stuff does not seem to be a distraction. I fully expect the Browns to run the football a lot in this game and continue to move the chains throughout the 60 minutes to carry them to a victory. All in all, go with the Cleveland Browns getting a pair of points to cover the spread and essentially pick up an upset victory overall.
