Here are the top-10 games on the NFL schedule, which includes a local team on a couple of different occasions.

1. Buccaneers at Patriots - Week 4

Tom Brady makes his return to New England to face his former team: Is there anything else to say? The defending Super Bowl champion Buccaneers coming to New England to play the Patriots may be the most-hyped regular-season game in years and is likely to set ratings records. It’s the easy choice for number one on this list.

2. Packers at Chiefs - Week 9

Many thought that this game was going to be the Super Bowl last season, but instead, we will see these top teams battle it out about halfway through the season. Barring an Aaron Rodgers trade, this will be the first time he and Patrick Mahomes have played against each other in what is sure to be an electric matchup.

3. Browns at Chiefs - Week 1

The Browns saw their dream season end in the AFC Divisional Round against the Chiefs in Kansas City. Now, they’ll open up their season in that same stadium with a chance at revenge. This is not only one of the best games in the first week of the season, but one of the best in the NFL period.

4. Bills at Chiefs - Week 5

The Chiefs will be a popular team this season, thanks mostly to Mahomes, but also because of their large number of quality opponents. Unfortunately, one of those opponents is the Bills, who may be Kansas City’s closest competition after meeting in last season’s AFC Championship game.

5. Cowboys at Buccaneers - Week 1

The first game of the NFL season is also one of its best, as the Bucs will raise their championship banner and welcome the Cowboys to town. The game will also be anticipated due to the return of Dak Prescott, who suffered a season-ending leg injury early in the 2020 season.

6. Rams at 49ers - Week 10

It’s always fun when these teams play, and Week 10 sees two of the top squads in the NFC West go toe-to-toe. Not only could this be a game that has a hand in determining who wins the division, but it also might be the first meeting between new Rams QB Matthew Stafford and the 49ers’ first-round pick Trey Lance.

7. Browns at Ravens - Week 12

Last year in Cleveland, these two teams produced one of the best games of the entire NFL season, a 47-42 thriller ultimately won by the Ravens. So anticipation will be high in Week 12 for these teams to play again on a national stage. For the Browns to win their first division title since 1989, a victory over Baltimore may help get them there.

8. Buccaneers at Rams - Week 3

This is another memorable game last season when on Monday Night Football, the Rams went to Tampa Bay and took down the eventual Super Bowl champs. Now taking place in L.A., these two teams will meet again in what many experts see as a potential NFC Championship preview.

9. Chiefs at Ravens - Week 2

October 7th, 2012; the last time the Ravens defeated the Chiefs. That was the year when Joe Flacco and Baltimore won their second Super Bowl while Kansas City finished with the league’s worst record. Regardless, a lot has changed since then, as the Ravens will finally hope to get the best of Mahomes in this heavyweight matchup.

10. Jaguars at Bengals - Week 4

While this game will likely lack any playoff implications, NFL fans will enjoy seeing the last two number one overall picks go head-to-head. After that, Cincinnati’s Joe Burrow will go up against Jacksonville’s Trevor Lawrence, their last meeting in 2020 at the College Football National Championship.
