Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson warms up for a preseason game against the Vikings

In a nailbiter in the fourth quarter, the Browns were able to pull off a 26-24 victory in Carolina against the Panthers on Sunday.

We had one play and one play only on Sunday; Browns moneyline. It smacked and the max play worked out, returning every single unit back home to us.

Monday marks the start of another week in sports, starting with a full slate of MLB games as well as Monday Night Football. Let's start the week off strong and cash some bet slips.

Bet No. 1: Broncos -6.5 (-110)

In what will be Russell Wilson's first official game as a member of the Denver Broncos, he will return to Seattle to face his former team in the Seahawks.

Yes, I understand this game is in Seattle and I understand how the 12th Man comes into play when someone enters that stadium, but the Broncos are just the better team top to bottom.

They have a solid defense with a lot of returning players, and their offense is absolutely loaded with weapons to surround Wilson. Broncos -6.5 seems like a lock here, so Broncos country, let's ride.

Bet No. 2: Dodgers -1.5 (-130)

The Dodgers will travel to Arizona to take on the Diamondbacks Monday night to start a brand new series.

The Dodgers will have one of their top arms on the mound tonight matched up with a pitcher named Ryne Nelson for the Diamondbacks who has not had a lot of run this season.

Being that the Dodgers are already guaranteed a playoff spot, who knows how much rest they will give their stars between now and the end of the regular season. Still, for tonight, give me the Dodgers covering.

Bet No. 3: Guardians/Angels Over 7.5 Runs (-120)

The Guardians will once again be forced to throw lefty Konnor Pilkington tonight against the Angels as pitchers Aaron Civale and Zach Plesac still remain on the injured list.

Pilkington is 1-2 this season with an ERA that is just under four, matched up against Reid Detmers of the Angels.

Detmers is just 5-5 this season with a 3.67 ERA.

While the Angels have never faced Pilkington before, when you have Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani in your lineup, you're capable of scoring runs every single night. I'll take the over in this one.

Bet No. 4: Braves ML (-176)

The Atlanta Braves will be in San Francisco tonight as they take on the Giants.

For me, this matchup is as simple as this; the Braves have lost two in a row and the Giants have won two in a row. The Braves have the better roster. The Braves have the better starting pitcher in tonight's game.

As simple as it might sound, sometimes that is all that needs to be taken into consideration when placing a sports bet.

Have a night everyone, and let's meet at the cash counter.
