Texas Longhorns' quarterback Quinn Ewers throws a pass vs. Louisiana Monroe

Another Saturday is here, which means week two of the college football season is set to kick off. There were a few games Friday night, with UCF selling our moneyline pick and freezing up after taking a 14-7 lead in the game.

We missed on all four bets yesterday for the first time ever. It happens, and I'm ready for revenge on this fine Saturday. Let's get back to the cash counter.

Bet No. 1: Alabama/Texas Over 65 Points (-109)

One of my all-time favorite sayings; who doesn't love points?

Alabama is the number one ranked team in the country, per usual. No matter what defense you throw at them, they are always bound to put up points.

New Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers is also one who can put up points. The Ohio State transfer put up 225 yards and two touchdowns in week one leading Texas to a 52-10 victory. There will be points scored today, so we are riding the over.

Bet No. 2: Texas Tech ML (-193)

Texas Tech will play host Saturday afternoon to No. 25 Houston, as both teams enter this contest 1-0 on the young season.

I see a lot of excitement in this game, as it is the last time the teams will face before Texas Tech joins the Big-12. Houston quarterback Clayton Tune had four interceptions against Tech last season, and I'm banking on a similar result today.

Bet No. 3: Brewers ML (-244)

As we head over to the baseball world, the Brewers will play host to the Cincinnati Reds in game two of their respective series.

The Reds grabbed game one of the series last night, winning 8-2. The Brewers are fighting until their last breath for a playoff spot, and the only way they can get in is to win.

Pressure is on, but let's have the Brew Crew take us to the counter.

Bet No. 4: Yankees ML (-113)

It's been a few days since I've bet on the Yankees, but here we are once again.

The Rays won game one of this series last night 4-2 in New York. While the Yankees do still lead the AL East, their lead has trimmed since cooling off post all-star break. Every game is huge in this series, and I'm riding Jameson Taillon and the Yankees today to take me home.
