Parlay All Day: May 24, 2023
Who doesn't love a good parlay? From the six-leg pure moneyline parlays hit daily, to the home run parlays you see now and then, we see it all. With a full slate of MLB to work with today, let's cook up something special.
1st Leg: Tampa Bay Rays Moneyline
If you checked how the MLB slate played out yesterday, you probably saw one team put up a football score. If not, that team was the Toronto Blue Jays, who demolished the Rays last night by a score of 20-1.
A team to collectively get hot at the same time is rare, let alone to put up 20 runs in a single game. I highly doubt they light it up again tonight, as I am banking on them getting all those home runs and runs scored out of their system last night. Not to mention; they have to face Rays' ace Shane McClanahan tonight (7-0, 2.25 ERA). Give me the Rays.
2nd Leg: Dodgers/Braves Under 10 Total Runs
The Dodgers have put up eight runs in their last two games, and I tend to believe that comes to an end tonight when they face Bryce Elder.
Gonsolin is on the mound tonight for the Dodgers, and he's a guy I'll take my chances with. In limited starts so far this season, he's been solid and has only allowed five hits one time.
3rd Leg: Detroit Tigers Moneyline
The Tigers are plus-money today, but it's a matchup I like for them. Zach Greinke is on the mound for the Royals tonight, and the Tigers have seen him plenty of times.
Coming off a loss yesterday, the Tigers do not want to lose a series to the tanking Royals, especially when they are in the thick of the division race in the struggling AL Central.
Odds: +433 ($100 pays $533)
As always, lines and odds are subject to move. Let's see what happens, and let's have a Wednesday!
