betJACK Best Bets: NFL Week 10
We have reached Week 10 of the NFL season, and this is the point of the season in which some teams officially seem to throw in the towel. It has been a strange NFL season up to this point, and it's hard to really get a feel for the true Super Bowl contenders.
The Cincinnati Bengals will not be taking the field in Week 10 at is their bye week, but they seemed to be figuring some things out. There are some interesting matchups on the schedule in Week 10, and that should lead to some great betting opportunities.
Here are three of the best Week 10 NFL bets to make.
Detroit Lions vs. Chicago Bears -3
Two of the worst teams record-wise in the NFL meet up in Chicago on Sunday for what should be an interesting game. The Detroit Lions came into 2022 with some hype, while that wasn't the case at all for the Chicago Bears.
Things have flipped a bit of late, though, as the Bears are suddenly scoring some points behind quarterback Justin Fields. Fields just set the single-game rushing record for a quarterback, and this Bears team is having some fun.
Detroit has been competitive in most games this year, but it just hasn't led to any wins. The Lions are going to have a tough time slowing down Fields and the Bears' rushing attack at Soldier Field.
Take the Bears -3 as they roll to a win in this one.
Cleveland Browns vs. Miami Dolphins -3.5
The Cleveland Browns bring a 3-5 record into Week 10, and they are still waiting on the return of quarterback Deshaun Watson. Cleveland did pick up an impressive win against the Bengals at the end of October, but they were struggling before that.
Miami has started 6-3 to begin the year, and they have one of the best passing attacks in football. Tyreek Hill has transformed that offense, and they are not a fun team to deal with at all.
The Browns have been too inconsistent this season, and that defense is going to struggle in this game. Take the Dolphins -3.5 as they win this game by a touchdown or more.
Dallas Cowboys -4.5 vs. Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers might be the most disappointing team in the NFL this season, as they are 3-6 and have lost five straight. Aaron Rodgers has actually looked human this season, and the defense has fallen apart at times as well.
Dallas comes into this game with a 6-2 record, and they look like they are a legitimate Super Bowl contender this season. The odds for this game are a bit tricky, as oddsmakers expect Green Bay to bounce back at some point.
Playing in Green Bay also makes the Packers a more dangerous team, but they still have some serious flaws. Don't fall for the trap, though, as the Cowboys are the much better overall team, and they will roll to a big win in this one.
