Updated AFC North Champion Betting Odds
The AFC North Division was supposed to be extremely competitive in 2022, and it was also supposed to be one of the best divisions in football. Only one of those things has remained true as the season has played out, but there is still a lot of exciting football to be played.
The odds to win the AFC North Division have been out since the end of last season, and the order hasn't changed through six weeks of the 2022 season.
With no team running away with the division, these odds can shift pretty drastically each week based on results. Let's go over the current odds to win the AFC North Division.
Ravens Still on Top
Even after the Cincinnati Bengals won the AFC a season ago, the Baltimore Ravens were the opening favorites to win the AFC North. That remains the case through six games as Baltimore has odds set at (-130) to be crowned division champion.
It's not as if the Ravens have been playing great football in 2022, but the oddsmakers still like their chances of righting the ship at some point. Baltimore will have to keep quarterback Lamar Jackson healthy, or things could get bad in a hurry.
Bengals, Browns in the Hunt
The two teams from Ohio are next on the list, but it's been a strange start to the season for each team. Cincinnati has odds set at (+180) to win the AFC North, while the Cleveland Browns are further down the list at (+800).
The Bengals are also sitting at 3-3 through the first six games, and that puts them in a first-place tie with the Ravens. Cincinnati has started off extremely slow this season, and there are some flaws that will need to be figured out.
Cleveland is just 2-4 through the first six games, and that was to be expected after QB DeshauncWatson was suspended for the first 11 NFL games. The Browns are trying to stay in the race until Watson is able to return, but they have lost some games in which they were favored.
You can get some great value in betting on either Ohio team, but they both have some serious work to do.
Pittsburgh Giving Up?
The Steelers are one of the most storied NFL franchises in the league, and they are always in the mix with head coach Mike Tomlin. Pittsburgh has gone 2-4 through the first six games, but it also appears as if they are getting ready to start a rebuild.
The odds for Pittsburgh to win the AFC North are set at (+1800). It's hard to ever really count this team out, but they are going to rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett, and they have some serious holes in other parts of the roster.
