The Main Event

This fight is a short notice fight; bring in Belal Muhammad to replace Khamzat Chimaev. Chima was recently diagnosed with Covoid-19 and still has some lingering symptoms. This fight is a massive opportunity for both fighters. Edwards is looking towards a title fight if the ref raises his hand. Muhammad has a chance to knock off the third-ranked fighter in the world in the Welterweight Division, which could catapult his career to new heights. No doubt both fighters are looking to win and advance their careers. The fight should be an excellent main event, and I can see it going the distance. “Rocky” Leon Edwards

Leon Edwards, 29 years old, AKA Rocky, is coming into this fight, currently ranked #3 in the UFC Welterweight Division. Edwards is coming in with a pretty impressive record of 18-3-0. The southpaw is with Team Renegade fighting out of England. Originally from Jamaica, Edwards is 6’ 0” 170lbs, with an arm reach of 74” and a leg reach of 43”.

Edwards is an impressive fighter; he is reliable in all areas. He is an excellent striker with impressive knockout power. Edwards also has solid wrestling skills and has shown significant improvement on his ground game.

Rocky has six wins by KO/TKO, three wins by submission, and nine wins by decision. Leon Edwards looks like a top fighter, but he has not fought since July 20, 2019. If Edwards can pull this off, he should be a contender for the Welterweight Title.

Belal Muhammad, 32 years old AKA Remember the Name, is coming into this bout ranked #13 in the Welterweighorthodox stance with an arm reach 72” and a leg reach of 40”. Muhammad is figt Division. Remember the Name has a current record of 18-3-0. Muhammad has an hting out of the U.S. with Team Roufusport coming in at 5’11”, 171 lbs.

Muhammad Is a decent fighter who has an outstanding offensive striker with decent knockout power and a mediocre ground game. He has won four fights by KO/TKO, one win by submission and 13 by decision.

Muhammad is coming into this fight as a replacement for Khamzat Chimaev due to the Covid-19 diagnosis. This fight is a massive opportunity for Muhammad.

Vegas has Muhammad as the underdog at +170 and Muhammad under at 4 ½.

The Decision

This welterweight bout is expected to be a good fight. Edwards is one of the best fighters in the world in his division. However, he has not fought in almost three years. Muhammad is coming into this fight with something to prove; he has won three out of four of his last fights. UCF Vegas 21 should be a fight to remember, with Edwards winning by unanimous decision -260.
