UNC Asheville Bulldogs Betting Preview

UNC Asheville took care of business against Warren Wilson their last time on the floor, winning 122-70. Drew Pember led the charge with 22 points to go along with nine rebounds.

UNC Asheville tallied 20 turnovers in the game, but they made up for it with a dominant 55-25 rebound advantage over Warren Wilson.

On the season, Pember leads UNC Asheville with 21.2 points per game. He’s also averaging 8.4 rebounds per contest.

Tajion Jones has been impressive as well, averaging 14.9 points and five rebounds per game.

Nevertheless, UNC Asheville is listed as a massive underdog in this contest. Upsetting the oddsmakers will prove to be a challenge on the road.

Dayton Flyers Betting Preview

Dayton lost to a Virginia Tech team that is now 9-1 on the season in their last contest. Dayton shot just 30 percent from the field and 20 percent from beyond the arc in the game. DaRon Holmes II led Dayton with 13 points in the loss.

It was a game they will want to put in the past without question.

Holmes II leads Dayton with 15.6 points per game on the year. He’s also averaging 7.5 rebounds per contest.

Toumani Camara is averaging 10.8 points per game to go along with a team-leading 8.9 rebounds per game.

The Flyers expect to win this game, but they cannot afford to take anything for granted against this gritty UNC Asheville team.

As long as Dayton comes out with energy, they should be in line to get the job done, and do so with ease.

Odds

The odds have Dayton listed as a convincing home favorite, as they sit as -11 point favorites. The over/under will be interesting to follow in the game.

Both of these offenses have the talent to post a big number, but Dayton’s defense has the potential to shut down the Bulldogs.

From a spread perspective, Dayton is just 2-8 against the spread on the season. UNC Asheville is 3-4 against the spread this season.

As a favorite, Dayton is just 2-7 against the spread, while UNC Asheville is 1-0 in their lone contest as an underdog.

It will unquestionably be intriguing to see if Dayton can turn the tide on their spread misfortune and cover as a home favorite. UNC Asheville will give them everything they can handle on Saturday afternoon.
