During Week 2 of the NFL season, there are plenty of chances to take advantage of pricing that does not accurately reflect what to expect from teams.

Between overreactions to the first week of the season and the fact that we still have not seen everything that teams have to offer, there are several value betting opportunities on Sunday. Here, we will put together a three-team NFL parlay using some of those value spots.

Lions -1.5 vs. Commmanders

The Detroit Lions are rarely a favorite in the NFL, but there is a reason that they are a favorite here against the Washington Commanders. Detroit nearly completed a 17-point comeback against the Philadelphia Eagles last week, with the running game of the Lions looking great in their season opener.

This week, the Lions face a much more beatable opposing offense when they take on Carson Wentz and the Commanders.

Last week, the Commanders beat the Jacksonville Jaguars but struggled to move the ball on the ground. While Wentz threw four touchdown passes against the Jaguars, he threw a couple of interceptions as well.

Expect Detroit to do a better job on defense than they did a week ago and to pick up their first win of the season at home much quicker than they got their first win last season.

Giants -2 vs. Panthers

One of the biggest surprises in the NFL in Week 1 was the performance of the New York Giants against the Tennessee Titans. New York’s NFC team came back from a 13-point halftime deficit to beat the Titans, with Saquon Barkley racking up over 160 rushing yards in the win.

This week, the Giants play their home opener against a Carolina Panthers team that was demolished on the ground a week ago and could be in trouble against Barkley here.

The Panthers, meanwhile, were not as good as the final score indicated against the Cleveland Browns last week.

Carolina was torn up on the ground defensively, and, if not for a blown coverage by the Browns in the fourth quarter, Baker Mayfield would have ended up with around 160 passing yards. Mayfield will continue to struggle in this game, which will help the Giants pick up a second straight win.

Saints ML vs. Buccaneers

The NFC South will see one of the biggest games of its season take place this week when the New Orleans Saints host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Saints picked up a comeback win over the Falcons in Week 1, while the Bucs locked down the Dallas Cowboys.

Here, the Saints are in a great position to pick up a win at home to move to 2-0 and continue their run of dominance over Tom Brady and the Bucs.

Since Tom Brady took over as the quarterback of the Buccaneers, the Saints have gone 4-0 against Tampa Bay in regular season action. The Saints have only lost once to the Buccaneers since Brady has been the Tampa Bay quarterback, with that loss coming in the 2020 playoffs.

Here, the Saints will use their collection of weapons to give the Buccaneers a much tougher day than the Cowboys did in Week 1, en route to a big win at home.
