Washington (+16.5) vs. Gonzaga

The Huskies come into this matchup with a 7-2 record, while the Bulldogs enter with a 6-3 mark. This isn’t your typical Gonzaga team that were used to seeing. You know, the team that blows everyone out in the regular season and then chokes in the tourney.  

Gonzaga suffered embarrassing losses at Texas and on a neutral site against Purdue. Washington on the other hand has some solid wins on its resume against Colorado and St. Mary’s. The Huskies strength lies on the defensive end and if they can keep Gonzaga in the 70’s, I fully expect them to cover this spread.

Give me Washington +16.5. (Gonzaga 77, Washington 63)

Arkansas State vs. Air Force (Under 121.0)

Simply put, these two teams are sloppy offensively. Arkansas State is rated 325th in terms of Adjusted Offensive Efficiency (Ken Pom Shoutout), while Air Force isn’t much higher at 269th. Both of these teams have shown an ability to hold their own on the defensive end this season. I expect a weak offensive output with lots of dead ball turnovers, effectively limiting transition opportunities.

Give me the under 121. (Air Force 60, Arkansas St 55) 

Fordham (-13.5) vs. Binghamton

Binghamton is one of the worst teams both offensively and defensively in the nation. 

They can’t score, they can’t defend, and they play at one of the slowest tempo’s in the country. While Fordham isn’t exactly an offensive juggernaut, they come into this contest with a 9-1 record, with the sole loss being at highly ranked Arkansas. I expect Fordham to come out with a tough defensive effort and limit the Bearcat scoring opportunities.

Give me Fordham -13.5. (Fordham 74, Binghamton 59)
