Cincinnati Bengals kicker Evan McPherson kicks in warmups ahead of game vs. Miami Dolphins

The Cincinnati Bengals will take on the New Orleans Saints on Sunday afternoon at 1:00 p.m in New Orleans. Both teams need a win to stay competitive in their respective divisions.

They both have records of 2-3 and are within one game of the lead in the division.

The Bengals are coming off their third loss of the season against the Baltimore Ravens after getting two consecutive wins in their previous two weeks against the New York Jets and the Miami Dolphins.

The Saints were able to win their second game of the season last weekend against the Seattle Seahawks after three straight losses.

Let’s look ahead at the three best prop bets between the Cincinnati Bengals and the New Orleans Saints.

Best Prop Bets

Over Seven Minutes Before First Score (+103)

The Bengals had zero points, and the Saints had three points in the first quarter of their last games. I think it will take some time for these two teams to get settled into the game, which will mean a slow start for both teams.

In reality, one team could take five minutes off the clock in their first possession before punting the ball away, which would almost win this bet for anyone who takes it.

Neither team has started quickly this season, so, if we are able to see a punt on the first drive, I really like this bet to hit.

I like the Bengals to win this game, but I think they are hoping to keep this low scoring in the beginning of the game to allow them to ease into this game and win it on the road.

Cincinnati Bengals Over 1.5 Field Goals (-139)

This bet did not hit in their last game, but it did in all four of their first four matchups. The Bengals love to rely on Evan Mcpherson, who is ten of twelve through the first five games of the season.

On the road, I think the Bengals will settle for more field goals to make sure they get points on the board in as many possessions as they can. McPherson has gotten the opportunity to kick at least three field goal attempts in more than half of their games this season.

This bet is a lock for this game and for every Bengals’ game for the rest of the season. After his stellar performance last season, the Bengals are all in on Mcpherson and will trust him in any way they can.

Cincinnati To Score Over 2.5 Touchdowns (-110)

The Bengals have not had a good showing this season, but it is just a matter of time until they break out of their shell. If they want to stay in the playoff race, they need to win consistently for the next couple weeks.

A 50/50 road game will require a good game all around. They are currently sitting at 2.2 touchdowns per game which ranks 20th in the NFL, but I like the Bengals to score at least three touchdowns against their lesser opponent in the Saints.
