Green Bay Packers -3.5 vs. Detroit Lions

Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers are just 3-5 through the first eight games, and that's not something that was expected. Green Bay has been an absolute mess on the offensive side of the football, and this is now a must-win game against a division rival.

Detroit comes into this game with a record of 1-6, and they did a bit of selling at the trade deadline. The Lions do have an offense that is moving the football, but it's not leading to any real success.

This spread is close simply because the Packers have struggled this year, but they are still the better team by a wide margin. Detroit will score some points early in the game, but they can't keep up with the Packers' offense.

Rodgers will have a big game as he leads his team to a win by a touchdown on Sunday.

Carolina Panthers +8 vs. Cincinnati Bengals

After getting blown out by the Cleveland Browns on Monday Night Football, the Cincinnati Bengals return home to face the Carolina Panthers. The Bengals are eight point favorites in this one, which is a large spread for a team that is just 4-4 on the year.

Carolina has won just two games so far in 2022, and they sent their best offensive weapon to the San Francisco 49ers before the trade deadline. The Panthers have been playing well over the last two weeks, though, and they are a scrappy team.

The Bengals should take this one, but that offense is going to struggle without Ja'Marr Chase in the lineup. Cincinnati should win, but the best bet is to take the eight points and bet on the Panthers.

Indianapolis Colts vs. New England Patriots -5.5

The Indianapolis Colts are another team that has been an absolute mess this season, and they have already made a change at the quarterback position. Indianapolis has lost two straight games, and they have scored just 26 total points in those matchups.

The New England Patriots have some issues at quarterback of their own, but they are still 4-4 and getting to play this game at home. Head coach Bill Belichick has been having to piece things together, and he is showing off just how great of a head coach he is.

There is no way that you can trust the Colts at this point of the season, and that offense will struggle again. Take the Patriots -5.5 as they roll to a big win at home over the Colts.
