Gianmarco Tamberi (left of photo, in the blue) hugs competitor and friend Mutaz Essa Barshim after sharing gold in the Tokyo Olympic High Jump final. Tamberi will take part in the NBA All Star Celebrity Game.

The best and the brightest NBA stars going to take the floor this weekend over at Rocket Morgage Fieldhouse. However, to kick everything off, the brightest stars from Hollywood and around the world will take to the court at the Bert and Iris Wolstein Center on the campus of Cleveland State University for the NBA All Star Celebrity Game. This is one of my favorite events to watch every year because I love to see what Hollywood stars can hoop!

There are Celebrity Game MVP odds out, these are my five people to look out for on Friday night.

Quavo +225

He's been in past celebrity games, and he was the MVP of the 2019 edition when the festivities were held in Charlotte when he dropped 27 points along with nine rebounds. Quavo opens as the favorite to win another MVP in The Land. This is not a bad play since it's there in that plus money category but there are other value plays if you go further on down the list.

Myles Garrett +600

It's no surprise to find this dude on here. A man who is "coming out of retirement" after having some tape of him playing pickup ball surface and him putting someone on a poster. It's Myles, if you haven't seen his ridiculous highlight tape, you can click here, the man is a SERIOUS player and a GREAT value pick for MVP. If he gives someone that "Kodak Moment" in game, you can expect to see that everywhere for a few weeks. I also wouldn't be shocked if the NFL wanted to drug test him after this game.

Daniel "Booby" Gibson +1100

This guy lit up Detroit to ultimately help the Cavs to the 2007 NBA Finals, Cavs legend, Daniel Gibson. He's still got a cult following as a former player playing all seven seasons he spent in the NBA as a member of the Cavaliers organization. He also is a musical artist as that's what he retired from basketball to do as he wrote music to cope with the many things he had going on in his personal life that led him there. He's a gamer, and I think he always has been so if you're willing. This can be really enticing.

Gianmarco Tamberi +1100

Let me introduce you to yet another athlete that can really hoop. The Co-Olympic Champion in the High Jump in a legendary two and three quarter hour long spectacle of a final at the Olympics in Tokyo. What happened here is something I regard as the "Sporting Moment of the Year" last year. Both Tamberi and Qatari High Jumper Mutaz Essa Barshim, who suffered career threatening injuries prior to Tokyo, cleared 2.37 meters (which roughly translates to 7'9 1/4" here in the US). It was the pair who went out on the next height of 2.39 meters (roughly 7'10" in imperial measuring) and on count back they were tied. Instead of a jump off, they shared gold. This dude is a fine tuned machine and has fantastic footwork, should he go off tonight at the Wolstein Center, he's got my vote.

Mayor Justin Bibb (Mayor Of Cleveland)+3500

How's this for some local flavor? The Mayor of the City of Cleveland Justin Bibb, is playing in the game as well, it wouldn't be Cleveland without some locally known faces. The man can hoop, I got a chance to see him on the NBA Ice Buckets court in town shooting around and he's got a good jumper. I would venture to say that a lot of these guys can play, so this is a fun one to throw ten dollars on if you had it in you to bet. It's defintiely a risk but it could definitely pay off in the long run.
