betJACK Best Bets: NBA Future Bets
If you’re already sick of the early season storylines surrounding your favorite team or players, or are just eager to have your early season predictions/hot takes come to life, NBA futures may be exactly what you’re looking for! We have two great future bets; both involving the powerhouse Milwaukee Bucks.
Here are some futures that you should consider based on the early portion of this season.
Giannis Antetokounmpo MVP (+275)
Giannis Antetokounmpo is already a two-time MVP, but he is arguably playing the best basketball of his career in the early going, as he’s averaging 33.3 points, 12.8 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game.
Antetokounmpo has the Milwaukee Bucks off to a 7-0 start, as he’s looked incredibly unstoppable on both sides of the floor.
Antetokounmpo is allowing opposing scorers to shoot just 32.2 percent on him while he’s the primary defender, which is a testament to how he uses his incredible length, athleticism, and defensive instincts.
Antetokounmpo’s presence alone makes the Bucks such a dangerous team, as he’s just incredibly tough to stop when he’s coming with a head full of steam down the lane.
Antetokounmpo will face some tough competition from Luka Doncic, Nikola Jokic, Ja Morant, and potentially Kevin Durant if he can stay healthy and right the ship with the Brooklyn Nets, but Antetokounmpo is clearly the best player in the NBA right now, and that is not going to change any time soon.
Milwaukee Bucks NBA Championship (+550)
Not only is Giannis Antetokounmpo a pretty good bet to take home his third MVP Award, but his team is a legitimate threat to win the championship two times in three years.
The Milwaukee Bucks have just such a great team built around their superstar player, as Jrue Holiday continues to be one of the best on-ball defenders in the NBA while providing great scoring and playmaking to supplement Antetokounmpo.
Brook Lopez has stepped in admirably in the absence of Khris Middleton, as he’s providing excellent 3-point shooting and interior scoring while continuing to shut down the paint with his size and length.
Bobby Portis is also providing a nice punch with his ability to score and rebound the ball.
Once Middleton returns, the Bucks will be even more dangerous with Middleton’s ability to stretch the floor as a 3-point shooter and get you a bucket in the mid-range.
Middleton is also a low-maintenance player who doesn’t need a heck of a lot of touches or shot attempts to get going, as he’s fully bought into the fabric of Milwaukee.
As long as the Bucks have Antetokounmpo in the fold, they have to feel great about their chances to win multiple championships.
With the Boston Celtics not looking so great to start the season and the Brooklyn Nets looking like a complete disaster, and no light seemingly at the end of the tunnel, the Eastern Conference is all there for the taking for the Bucks.
