Best MACtion Bets Saturday 25 Mid-American Conference Betting Odds, Predictions

The real MACtion is set to begin next week as the Mid-American Conference will have a full slate of conference games on tap. There are still some great betting opportunities as it relates to the MAC this week as teams look to pick up some impressive non-conference wins.

Here are three of the best MACtion bets to make in Week 4 of the college football season.

Northwestern Wildcats -15.0 vs. Ohio Bobcats

The Ohio Bobcats head to Evanston, Illinois, on Saturday morning for a matchup with the Northwestern Wildcats. It has not been a good start to the season for Ohio, and they will be taking on a Big Ten team that is looking to turn its season around.

Ohio has managed to score just 16 points per game this season despite having some balance on offense. Facing a Big Ten Conference defense won’t be a great way for Ohio to get their offense turned around.

Northwestern suffered a massive upset loss to Duke in Week 3 of the season, and things aren’t going as well as expected for the Wildcats. This is still a solid team with plenty of talent, and this could be the game to figure things out.

It’s hard to see Ohio scoring many points at all on Saturday as the Northwestern Wildcats will cover the spread.

Toledo Rockets -4.5 at Ball State Cardinals

The Toledo Rockets will travel to Ball State on Saturday for a MAC Conference matchup against the Cardinals. Both teams are just 1-2 so far on the season, but this will be an opportunity to pick up a conference win to get things going.

Toledo nearly upset Notre Dame in Week 2, but then the Rockets fell apart in a blowout loss to Colorado State last weekend. Ball State won in Week 1 but has since been blown out in two straight games.

This should be a great game for the Toledo offense as Ball State does not have much talent on the defensive side of the ball. The Rockets are still looking to establish the rushing attack, but that shouldn’t be much of an issue in this one.

Ball State does have the advantage of playing this game at home, but it won’t matter as Toledo picks up a double-digit win.

Western Michigan Broncos -3.0 vs. San Jose State Spartans

One of the best games of the day featuring a MAC team will be the Western Michigan Broncos hosting the San Jose State Spartans. Both teams come into this matchup with a 2-1 record, and each team has the ability to put up some points.

The Broncos have won two straight games after getting blown out in Week 1 by Michigan, and this team has some momentum. Western Michigan went into Pittsburgh in Week 3 and picked up a massive win for the MAC.

San Jose State has a lone loss to USC so far this season, and the Spartans have shown that they can be a great defensive team. Quarterback Nick Starkel has six touchdown passes so far for the Spartans, but he has also thrown three interceptions.

This should be a tight game throughout, but playing at home will give Western Michigan the edge as they win the game and cover the spread.
