betJACK Best Bets: College Football Week 10
Week 10 of the NCAA Football season is when things really start to get more intense as the College Football Playoff rankings are now out. There is plenty of time for these rankings to change, and a number of Week 10 games will have an impact.
The Ohio State Buckeyes are still in the mix for one of the top four spots, and they are included in the list of best bets for Week 10. Here is a breakdown of that game and the other three games to target.
Ohio State Buckeyes -38 vs. Northwestern Wildcats
The Ohio State Buckeyes are traveling to Northwestern on Saturday to face off against the 1-7 Northwestern Wildcats. It’s been a miserable season for Northwestern, and they can’t be looking forward to the challenge of facing Ohio State.
The Buckeyes just continue to blow out opponents behind quarterback CJ Stroud, and this might be the biggest blowout of them all. Take the Buckeyes -38, as this game is going to be over by halftime.
Kentucky Wildcats -1 vs. Missouri Tigers
The 5-3 Kentucky Wildcats head to Missouri to take on the 4-4 Tigers in what should be an interesting SEC matchup. Kentucky has lost three of its last four games, while Missouri has picked up two straight wins.
It’s been a tough few weeks for Kentucky, but they still have quarterback Will Levis leading that offense. Missouri has been able to get more stops of late, but there are still some holes on that defense.
This is the perfect chance for Kentucky to figure some things out and bounce back, and that’s exactly what will happen on Saturday.
Tennessee Volunteers +8.5 vs. Georgia Bulldogs
The biggest game of the day takes place in the SEC as Tennessee and Georgia are set to square off. The winning team will take over the top spot in the College Football Playoff rankings, while the loser will be in rough shape.
This line just hasn’t felt right since it opened, as there isn’t a ton of separation between these two SEC rivals. Even if Georgia is going to win this game as expected, don’t be surprised to see it come down to the final possession.
Tennessee is really good this season, and they cover the spread in this one.
Alabama Crimson Tide vs. LSU Tigers +13.5
Alabama and LSU used to be the biggest rivalry in the SEC as both teams were routinely battling for a spot in the SEC Championship Game. The Crimson Tide have clearly taken control of this rivalry as of late, but LSU is starting to figure things out again.
Bryce Young and the Crimson Tide offense are going to have a big day again, and they are eventually going to break through. LSU does have a defense that can get some stops, though, but they just won’t be able to find enough offense.
Take the 13.5 points in this game, as LSU keeps it within that spread, but it’s going to be a loss.
