The Vince Lombardi Trophy, awarded to the Super Bowl Champions, sits outside of SoFi Stadium, the site of Super Bowl LVI

The NFL had the AFC and NFC Championship Games Sunday and they were both solid. It is time to look ahead to Super Bowl LVI between the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals, which is set to take place on Sunday, February 13th at Sofi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

Everyone is eager to know what the opening betting line is for Super Bowl LVI. According to the Action Network, the Los Angeles Rams are the early favorites at (-4.5) points spread and the Cincinnati Bengals are the underdogs at (+4.5) points. As of last night, it started at -4, until the line moved.

The over/under for this football game at the current moment is 48.5 total points. These are the opening lines for Super Bowl LVI, but it always changes as the next several days go by leading up to the game.

This is the first time in a while that a Super Bowl had a betting line this large. I am very curious to see if it goes to -5 and -5.5 for the Los Angeles Rams or if we will even see it at back down at -3.5 or -3 even, but I don’t see that honestly happening.

Cincinnati is not as talented on paper as Los Angeles is on paper. The Bengals have a so-so offensive line against a solid Rams defensive line. This is why the spread is out at -4.5 at the moment.

Remember when they said, never bet against Tom Brady? Well, is it now time to say never bet against Joe Burrow for the Cincinnati Bengals? That -4.5 spread for Los Angeles feels like a very interesting betting line because I feel like a lot of people are going to bet on Cincinnati to cover the spread and potentially win the game outright.

I have a gut feeling that Super Bowl LVI isn’t going to be a blowout like it was last year. There is a lot of time left for me to decide who I think is going to win this football game.

No one thought Cincinnati was going to be here at this point at the beginning of the regular season and a lot of people thought Los Angeles was going to be.

Vegas doesn’t lie what they think of the point spreads and they are usually right for the most part.

I wouldn’t bet on this game today, but if I had a $100 bill and had no choice too, I would probably bet the Los Angeles Rams -4.5 point spread over the Cincinnati Bengals. I also think there will be a ton of points scored in this football game and I would also bet the over 48.5 total points scored.

Matthew Stafford and Joe Burrow are going to trade scoring punches. I would take the Los Angeles Rams over the Cincinnati Bengals by a final score of 28-23.

I usually like to make my picks the Thursday before gamedays, however. This is the time of year when Vegas makes its money on the Super Bowl (LVI) and it should be a good one between the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals.
